Alvarado Street Brewery, working out of Monterey, California, has built much of its national reputation on this single can: Mai Tai P.A. carries a GABF-medal-winning recipe, and it's become one of the more decorated American IPAs to come out of the West Coast in recent years. It sits at the center of the brewery's lineup, the beer most drinkers point to first when the name comes up.
